We hope this letter finds you all doing well. As we look back on the month of February, for sure the biggest highlight was that our offer on the property next to the church was accepted, the deal has been done…. Woohoo!! or… Hallelluiah!! Tamarindo Church now owns a 2/3 acre lot for constructing our future church building!!! Praise be to God who has shown us His favor!
We are now in the preliminary phase of concept and design for the church, and we are hoping to break ground sometime before the year end. We still have much to do in the way of design, permits, and additional fundraising, etc … but we’d like to say “THANK YOU” to all who have prayed with us and who have financially given to help make this to happen. Please keep us in prayer with us as we move forward with building plans. We will be sure to keep you posted on our progress.
Aside from the purchase of the land… there hasn’t been much out of the ordinary going on at Tamarindo Church. 
Just the everday life and ministry we share with folks in the church and community; men’s and women’s bible studies, youth group gatherings, and Sunday worship together. We also are continuing to see many of our seasonal visitors as well as newcomers at church… who we are always grateful to see.
Well… come to think of it… one thing I would like to highlight is that several folks from our church put together a mission project of their own this month… helping to build a local woman a home. So cool to see Christ followers just taking initiative and making it happen. This is the second home that church members have taken initiative to build locally in the past year. Kudos to you guys… you know who you are. And one last annaouncment is that this past month we saw several folks injured in one way or another, and I’d like to ask for continued prayers of healing and recovery for Cody, Lori, Bruce, and Karen. Thank you for praying along with us for these friends.

PIZZA FELLOWSHIP- Sunday March 19th
Join us on Sunday the 19th after Church for hanging out, pizza, and a swim in the pool at Monkey Bar/Tamarindo Best Western Vista Villas. This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the church in a way that we just don’t get to do on Sunday’s after church service. Don’t forget your bathing suit and towel. As an alternative to Infant Baptism, Tamarindo Church performs “Baby Dedications” where an infant/child is dedicated to the Lord before the congreation… and where the parents and congregation commit to raising our children as followers of Christ.

Youth nights at Tamarindo Church create an environment where teenagers feel welcomed and safe to be themselves.
This month at Tamarindo Church Youth Group has been full of good times, belly laughs, and great conversations. We listen to music way too loud, eat (probably too much) candy, and play some wild games and mixers.
Aside from the dodgeball and crazy games we play each week, we’ve really been digging into the Bible to figure out who Jesus is and what He is all about. We learned about sin. We learned about God’s love poured out through the cross. And we learned about God’s power through the resurrection of Jesus. Please pray for us as we now begin to learn what the bible says and what our lives will look like if we choose to be a Follower of Christ.

We are seeking people with a musical and vocal talent to join 
our worship team. If God has gifted you with musical or technical talent, we want you to be able to use it for His glory! Our immediate need is for instrumentalists, primarily Bass and Drums. Other instruments are welcome to join in (i.e. keyboard, ukulele, etc.) but cannot be supplied by the church at this time. Here are the first few steps for becoming part of the worship team…

FINANCES
Please pray to our Father that he would meet our needs in the coming year through pledges and regular supporters! We are $20,000 short in pledges, but trusting God will meet our needs as the year unfolds.
OUTREACH
That God would create a spiritual hunger in our community, and that we would see many come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Please pray that our church members would be salt and light in the community to those who are not saved.

Thanks be to God, the sale went through and Tamarindo Church now owns a property for the construction of a church building which will help us to more effectively minister to our church and community. At this point we are in the concept and design phase. Please pray that God would guide us in this process, and that our needs would be met for building the first phase of the church which includes the sanctuary, classroooms, youth room, and fellowship room..
