May was an exciting month at Tamarindo Church. A couple of highlights from the month were the Women’s Retreat and a visit from a group of 23 students from St. Francis University.
TC WOMEN’S RETREAT
There were about 30 ladies who went on the women’s retreat this year which was held at La Carolina Lodge… about 2 hours away near Tenorio Volcano.
Horseback riding, hiking to a waterfall, natural hot-tub, fresh local food…. Needless to saythe ladies had a blast out in God’s creation and sharing these experiences with each other. And of course there were the meaningful times of sharing, bible study and prayer that the ladies had. The group watched conference messages given at the “IF: Gathering” women’s conference that was held in the U.S. earlier this year.
A special thanks to the worship team, to Stacey, Jen Snow, and to the staff at Carolina Lodge for making the event a success!
ST. FRANCIS UNIVERSITY
A second highlight of the month was that Tamarindo Church hosted a group of 23 Students from St. Francis University in acouple of local service projects. With the $1500 the students raised, they painted two local schools (in Rio Seco and Los Pargos), and hadwindows and screens installed in the cafeteria of the school in Rio Seco. Thanks to Mike and Keilyn Krepin for their efforts in organizing the event… and thanks to St. Francis students for your generosity and hard work.
THANK YOU WELLS FAMILY!
And thank you to all of you for the many ways you support Tamarindo Church with your time, energy, talents, financial support and prayer. We could not do this without you. Blessings to you all, and we hope to see you next Sunday at Church!
I thank my God every time I remember you.
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now..”

LYLE & STACEY
for spiritual wisdom and direction as we lead the church.
– For Stacey’s new job in real-estate… that she would find balance between family, ministry and work.
for meaningful times together and healthy balance between family and ministry.
over our family and our Ministry Team.
that God would guide us in our vision and strategy for reaching and serving our community.
Thanks to God for raising up more people to lead and serve on our ministry teams. Please pray that God would continue build a sense of unity and family among our core church members.
Thank you Father for meeting our needs this year through pledges and regular supporters!
That God would create a spiritual hunger in our community, and that we would see many come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
We are currently searching out properties for building a church in the near future. Please pray that God would guide us to the right location, that we would get a great price, and God would provide the funds for the purchase.
