As we give this month’s update, Stacey and I are actually at the tail end of our time visiting family in the U.S. While here, one of the things we are most grateful for is the team of folks that have been keeping ministry going at Tamarindo Church while we have been gone. It is awesome to see how God continues to grow our church family. Thank you to all of you who have been filling in the gaps by serving on Sundays! A special thanks to Mike Manassa, Steve Page and Greg Ehlert for preaching… and to Steve, Elizabeth, and Fabio for leading music. We look forward to being back this Sunday to worship with everyone!GOSPEL PROJECT
Three years ago, our Children’s Ministry started a curriculum called The Gospel Project. Basically this curriculum teaches the kids all the major stories of the bible from Genesis to Revelation and takes three years to complete. In each lesson the children are taught the “Christ Connection” from the Old Testament to the New. Last month, we completed that curriculum! Congrats to the kids who have participated, and thank you to the Children’s Church leaders who have been faithful in teaching our kids the bible.YOUTH CAMP
On July 11th-14th, several kids from our area will be heading up to Camp La Cumbre. This will be Tamarindo Church’s first year participating in this camp, and we look forward to fun times, and meaningful time together with kids from all over Costa Rica. Please keep us in prayer for safe travels… and that God would speak into the lives of all kids gathered for the week.

MEN’S RETREAT
Next month we will be headed to Corcovado, Playa Matapalo for our 2016 men’s retreat. The dates for the trip are September 5-8. During our time there, we will be using video conferences from the 2016 No Regret’s men’s conference for our learning and discussion times together. In addition… we will be getting plenty of “bro-time” in the surf, snorkeling, spearfishing and hiking.
