Hello Friends,
We hope you all are enjoying your summer, especially those of you getting extra special time with your kids. The past couple of months have been pretty “tranquilo” here at Tamarindo Church. This has mostly to do with the fact that Stacey and I have been gone visiting family in the U.S. for three Sundays. But church was gathering on Sundays thanks to our awesome team of volunteers at Tamarindo Church. A HUGE “THANK YOU” goes out to our team for doing an awesome job “manning the ship” while we’ve been gone. Wa special thanks to Andy and Elizabeth going above and beyond the call of duty in preaching and leading music! We thank God for blessing Tamarindo Church with such a capable team. MEN’S RETREAT As we settle back in to life and ministry in Costa Rica, we are looking forward to our upcoming Men’s Retreat to Nicaragua this month. The trip is maxed out at 10 men, and we are excited for whatever God has in store in our time together. Please pray God’s safety during our travels and beach adventures… and please pray the Holy Spirit would guide and direct our times of bible study and discussion together. YOUTH and KIDZ CLUB As we settle back in, we are also looking toward kicking off our Youth Group and Kidz Club ministries again in September. With this in mind, we will be needing help from volunteers. If you have kids involved in this ministry… or if you simply have a heart for ministering to kids, we ask that you would consider getting involved by volunteering in one way or another. That could be making snacks/meals… or showing up and helping with check in or games. If you would like to get involved in either of these ministries, please contact Lydia lydahrens@live.net for Kidz Club, or Carolyn Herman ckhermanfam@gmail.com for Youth Group. SUNDAY TEAM While we’re on the topic of volunteers, we also have a need for 2 people to who are wiling to commit to helping with our set up team on Sunday Mornings. Responsibilities would involve setting up and breaking down chairs and our hospitality station twice a month on Sunday mornings. If you are wiling and able to help with this ministry, please contact pastor Lyle @ lyletamarindo@gmail.com. Please pray for us!
Please pray for our men’s Retreat as 10 of us will be headed up to Nicaragua for our 2015 Men’s Retreat. Please pray safety in travels and as we will spend much of our time surfing, spearfishing, etc. Please pray also for meaningful fellowship and for “God Moments” as we hear and discuss the talks we hear from the No Regrets Men’s Conference DVDs. Starting up again in September!!!!
 Hey everyone… just wanted to remind everyone that we will be taking a break from Kids club for the summer… and we hope to begin meeting again in September. Stay posted for Updates!
Meeting every Friday night from 5:45-7:30, Kidz Club rocks it for kids ages 5-12. Come join in the fun, games, activities, snacks, music and learn about how much God loves them. Great date night opportunity for the parents too!!! All kids are welcome:)

 Skate Club meets every Wednesday @ 4:00pm Kids 6-10yrs welcome. Skate session is followed by a group bible study with the kids.
